Damn, I still don’t know how you guys do this. I go searching in the rough all the time. I never find more than like 2 balls at most.

A Greenkeeper at my old club would spend his break times (and work time I’m sure) finding golf balls and would sell them back to the members.
The irony of finding your own golf ball after handing over $10 for a dozen was never lost on me.
Took him about 10 years but apparently he paid for his wedding doing this!
I found 35 balls in thorn bush at a dogleg left. Best day ever. 1/3 was Pro Vs
So, about 40 golf balls and 1 soccer ball.

Look right for quantity, look left for quality.

The number of people who assumed you held up play and then posted this treasure trove is saddening.
It’s saddening how few have had the opportunity to play on a beautiful course on a perfect day and never see another group that day, or go back and play the last three holes again, or even make the turn with a nod to play another nine unregistered.
Monday shoulder season golf is the best.
A course where I used to live had a par 5 that the 2nd shot had a blind carry of a small creek about 75 yards short of the green. I would go play solo weekday rounds from time to time when the course was empty and would pull a few balls every time. I probably pulled several hundred in the couple years I lived there.
No noodles i see. Only good golfers use noodles i guess

I played on Thanksgiving morning. I was the only person on the course. Took my time looking while playing. 3:30 minute round. 62 found golf balls (an extra 15 range balls). About a dozen of them are in the bag to play.
this is legit my new favorite pastime.
walk 9 at my local muni on a weekday morning when there’s nobody about, play 2 balls and scrounge around in the rough/OOB. went last Friday and found 3 pro v and 3 TP5x, all in excellent condition.

By the looks of this very statistical representation Srixon’s balls go offline the most. I won’t be using them anymore

A mate of mine walks her dog on the paths that cross cross parts of the course and she gave me a load of ProVs and TP5s. Over e months walking the dog, collected over 500 balls
I asked how she managed to find so many and she’d bought a 12 quid 365nm UV torch of Amazon and just shone I about. “Fuck mine” I sez to myself, I’m going to buy one too and I turned up a fortnight a go. Played twice, golfs balls light up like bloody Christmas trees! Obviously I get a load of “yeah amazing mate, trying using it outside the pro shop” but weird how everyone now seems to sneakily be also carrying one now.
Also, don’t buy the longer wavelength ones, they’re pants
25 golf balls up so far, half are excellent. Always worth going for a wander the day after a match…
